Women's Health Center

The Women’s Health Center is a convenient, comfortable, private outpatient facility dedicated to the unique health needs of women of all ages. Newly constructed, the Women’s Health Center features an inviting waiting room and individual examination rooms equipped with the latest technology. The Center is staffed by skilled gynecologists, midwives and other caring staff.

The health of mothers and children is an important measure of the overall health of a community. Insuring that children get a healthy start and learn healthy behaviors has many long-term benefits. North General's programs and services offer women a chance to receive the care and treatment they and their children need to live a long and healthy life.

The North General Diagnostic and Treatment Center's Women's Health Center offers a full range of obstetrical and gynecological services for women all ages, including adolescents. A team of obstetrician/gynecologists, midwives, physician assistants, LPNs, social workers and medical assistants provide services. The team has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of complex gynecologic problems, family planning, gynecologic malignancies, and more.

The prenatal service offers expectant mothers the latest technology for pregnancy and delivery.

All routine obstetrical ambulatory care services are provided at the North General Diagnostic and Treatment Center. High-risk patients are referred to Mount Sinai Hospital for consultation and/or management. Patients deliver at The Mount Sinai Medical Center.
