PARTNERSHIPS

In 2004, North General expanded its 25-year academic affiliation with the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and formalized a clinical affiliation agreement with Mount Sinai Hospital. This affiliation is designed to help both hospitals better serve the Harlem community.

The two institutions have implemented a variety of clinical affiliations aimed at strengthening the services offered at North General by building upon Mount Sinai’s clinical expertise. This partnership currently includes clinical programs in anesthesiology, cardiology, emergency medicine, gynecology, urology, ophthalmology, radiology, general surgery, vascular surgery, and cardiothoracic surgery.
