North General Hospital's Golf Classic is a Hole-in-One!
Tuesday, May 30th, North General welcomed friends and sponsors to our
Fourth Annual Eugene McCabe Memorial Golf Classic! Thanks to all of this
year's participants and sponsors, this year's Classic was the most
successful Classic to date, raising over $150,000 towards the hospital's
programs and services.
Guests arrived to Whippoorwill Golf Club in Armonk, NY at 10am and
prepared for a fun-filled day of networking and competition. After
brunch, foursomes jumped in their golf carts and headed to the course
for a shotgun start. Once players were finished, the day ended with
dinner and an awards ceremony, emceed by ESPN celebrity sportscaster,
Dave Sims. Mr. Sims congratulated each of the golf tournament contest
winners, who received their own Golf Classic framed flag. The
competitive spirit continued as raffle winners were announced including
the winner of the Grand Prize-a trip to Florida, an Armani Exchange
Blazer and Oakley Golf Bag. Finally, guests had the opportunity to bid
on a variety of Silent Auction Items, ranging from Spa Packages, to
Yankee's Tickets, to vacations.
